Soybean Pretreatment Workshop Introduction: Soybean pretreatment includes a series of processes such as soybean cleaning, peeling, embryo rolling, and extruding before oil extraction, which make the soybean have certain structural characteristics to meet the needs of oil extraction process and facilitate the subsequent process of oil extraction.
Soybean Oil Extraction Workshop Introduction: The pretreated soybean is contacted with oil embryo in the equipment called extractor by organic solvent such as n-hexane. By this way, the oil in the oil seeds will be extracted and dissolved, and then the solvent in the oil will be removed by heating and stripping, thus, the crude soybean oil will be obtained
